رواية جميلة مكتوبة بلغة شاعرية وهي اقرب الى السيرة الذاتية تصور مرحلة الطفولة لبطل القصة الذي عاش في زمن المقاومة للاستعمار الفرنسي.

يسترجع مرتضى في الرواية خلال عودته الى منزل والده حياتة السابقة في المدينة وحياته في منزل والده ويتذكر الروائح المناظر من طفولته وتعرف على التصوف وتجاربه الشخصية والروحية عبر الزمن والمكان.
