Clouds filled the sky , fog began to breed , light rain began to fall .

She looked at her watch , the time of work ended . She felt of some

anxiety , took her black bag , paced her pink scarf on her shoulders

. She closed the door of the office , went down to the street , stood

on the edge of the pavement , began to watch the hurried people .

under the rain , she hinted the bus approaching , got into it . Rain is

falling heavily , she stood near the window , her imagination took her

away , memories of winter still hurts her , the sound of the impacting

rain plays on her wounds , dreams took her away . Suddenly a voice

of a message on her mobile wakened her up , the voice of thunder

seemed scary . She confused a little … opened the letter …read it …

closed her phone …contemplating trees standing alone under the

rain …smile…put her head at the window and she feels of a desire to cry .

ذاكِرة الشِتاء للأديب عمر مسلط

غيومٌ تملأ السماء ، الضباب بدأ يتكاثر ، أمطار خفيفة بدأت تتساقط ، نَظرت إلى ساعتها ، إنتهى

وقت العمل ، إنتابها شيءٌ من القلق ، تناولت حقيبتها السوداء ، وضَعت وشاحها الخمري على كتفيها

أغلقت باب المكتب ، نزلت إلى الشارع ، وقفت على حافة الرصيف ، أخذت تُراقب الناس المُسرعين

تحت المطر ، لَمَحت الحافلة تقترب ، صَعدت إليها ، المطر يزداد غزارة ، جلست بجانب النافذة

أخذها خيالها بعيداً ، ذكريات الشتاء لم تزل تُؤلمها ، صوت المطر المُرتطم بالنافذة يَعزف على جِراحها ،

تأخذها الأحلام بعيداً ، يوقظها فجأةً صوتُ رسالة إلى هاتفها الجوال ، صوت الرعد بدا مُخيفاً ،

ترتبك قليلاً ... تفتح الرسالة ... تقرأُها ... تُغلق هاتفها ... تتأمل الشجر الواقف وحيداً تحت المطر ...

تَبتَسم .... تضع رأسها على النافذة ، وتَشعُر بِرَغبةٍ في البكاء ...
