Very Short stories

Number one...
In hot, sunny countries, a lot of people like eating their meals in the fresh air. During the day, they eat under trees or big umbrellas, because the sun is usually very strong, but in the evening they eat under the moon and stars
People do this a lot in Italy. The restaurants put tables in a garden or in the street, and most people eat there and not in the restaurants.
Renato was an Italian. He came to London and bought a restaurant there. Then he said, ' I'm going to put some of my tables in the street here too.' But it rains a lot in England.
Mr. Jenkins went to Renato`s restaurant one day, and in the evening he said to his wife, ' I had lunch at that new Italian restaurant today, and it rained all the time. Drinking my soup took twenty-five minutes

في البلدان الحارة والمشمسة يفضل الكثير من الناس أن يتناولوا وجباتهم في الهواء الطلق. ففي أثناء النهار يأكلون طعامهم تحت الأشجار أو تحت المظلات..لأن الشمس عادة ما تكون حارة جدا", ولكن في الأمسيات يتناولون وجباتهم تحت القمر و النجوم.
و ذلك ما يفعله كثيرا" الناس في ايطاليا. فالمطاعم تضع الطاولات في حديقة أو في الشارع, ومعظم الناس يأكلون هناك وليس داخل المطاعم.
ريناتو هو رجل إيطالي, قدم إلى لندن واشترى مطعما" هناك, وقال لنفسه:
- سأضع بعضا" من الطاولات في الشارع هنا أيضا" !
لكنها تمطر كثيرا" في إنكلترا...
في أحد الأيام ذهب السيد جينكنز إلى مطعم ريناتو .. وفي المساء أخبر زوجته قائلا" :
- لقد تناولت غدائي في ذلك المطعم الإيطالي الجديد..وقد أمطرت طول الوقت...و استغرق إنهائي لحسائي خمسا" وعشرين دقيقة.

Number two:
Mary worked in an office in London, and she usually went out and had lunch in a restaurant. She liked foreign food and often looked in the newspaper for the names of new restaurants, because she enjoyed going to them and eating new things. Sometimes she said, ' I don't like this restaurant. I'm not going to come here again' . but often she said. ' I like this one. I'm going to have my lunch here often.'
One day she saw the name of a new Greek restaurant in her newspaper, and she went there for lunch. It was very small, but it was clean and nice, and the food was good.
But then Mary found something hard in her mouth. She took it out. It was a button.
' Look here waiter! ' She said. ' I found this button in my food. '
' Thank you, thank you !' the waiter answers happily. ' I looked everywhere for it.'

تعمل ماري في مكتب في لندن و قد اعتادت الخروج لتناول الغداء في مطعم. فهي تحب الطعم الأجنبي و غالبا" ما تبحث في الصحف عن أسماء المطاعم الجديدة لأنها تستمتع بدخول هذه المطاعم وتناول أشياء جديدة.
فأحيانا" تقول لنفسها:
- لم يعجبني هذا المطعم, ولن أعود إليه مرة ثانية.
لكنها غالبا" ما تقول:
- أحب هذا المطعم..سأتناول غدائي هنا مرات أخرى.
في أحد الأيام شاهدت اسم مطعم يوناني في الصحيفة فذهبت إلى هناك لتتناول غداءها. كان المطعم صغيرا" جدا"لكنه نظيف وجميل , كما أن الطعام كان جيدا".
لكن ماري وجدت شيئا" قاسيا" في فمها و عندما أخرجته وجدت زرا". فقالت :
- انظر أيها النادل, وجدت هذا الزر في طعامي!
فأجاب النادل فرحا" :
- شكرا", شكرا" لك..لقد بحثت عنه في كل مكان.
